Manufacturer and Year Parker - 1928-9 was when they switched to the thin double cap band. The barrel is marked with an upside down 1 with three dots, which we interpret as 1931 but the single digit suggests it might be 1941.

Color Black permanite (celluloid) with gold plated trim.
Nib Fine 14k gold nib is marked "Parker Duofold Pen"
Condition Excellent + condition, with no cracks, dents, or dings. This is a large, nicely weighted, dark and shiny pen in a classic design. The cap and barrel look gorgeous. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and microscratching at the end of the pen. The cap is beautiful with just some microscratching. The trim rings have a tad of plating wear along the edges. The clip looks great. The ring holding the clip has some brassing and plating wear. The imprints are clear.
