Filling System The pencil takes "thick" (1.1mm) refills and the pen is a button filler (restored with a new sac and working well).
Color Red (orange) permanite with gold plated trim. The pen has a single raised cap band and black pieces at the top of the cap and blind cap.

Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dings. This is a gorgeous, brightly colored, pen and pencil set, with classic styling. The fountain pen has light wear on the cap and barrel. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap band is excellent. The clip looks great. The mechanical pencil has light scratching on the barrel with some long, deeper marks close to the cone. The cone has some small marks and scratches and a little pitting around the opening for the leads. The clip has plating wear on the ball end and some small scratch marks at the center. The top end of the pencil that turns to extend the lead has some plating wear along edges, a small dent on the larger gold section, and some dots of pitting at the very top of the mechanism. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
