Product Description
Type Replica fountain pen
Product Name Duofold Replica
Manufacturer and Year Unknown maker (it might have been Chris Thomson pens, who makes Duofold replicas, however his pens are usually marked as such.). The nib has a visible date code .6. so it was made in 1946. Clip and feed are also original parts from 1930s or 40s. It's possible that they all came from the same pen though, perhaps one that had been sent back to Parker for servicing and had the nib replaced.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Button filler. We have replaced the sac and it's working very well.
Color White, with black hard rubber cap finial and blind cap. Gold filled trim.
Nib Extra-fine 18k nib, fairly firm.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or major scratches, though the surface has microscratching. The top of the (original Parker) clip has some brassing. No box or paperwork.
It's possible that all of the vintage parts of this pen came from the same pen, even though the nib is a Vacumatic nib. In those days, you could send your pen back to Parker for servicing,
