Product Name Parker Duofold Senior (Streamline)
Manufacturer and Year Parker - 1930s (no date code, but the nib has a 47 date code indicating 1937)
Length 5-1/8" inches .... please note that the Streamline version of the Senior is about a half inch shorter than the earlier cylindrical Duofold. A disappointed customer returned one of these the other day because they were expecting a bigger pen!
Filling System Button filler. Excellent restored filling system (we did the work, and we'll guarantee the filling system for a year).
Color Burgundy and black marbled permanite (celluloid) body and cap with gold filled trim. Two gold cap bands. Black blind cap and top of cap.
Nib MEDIUM-FINE Parker Duofold nib with a .47. date code. There are some small scratch marks or tool marks on the surface of the nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nice-sized, fat pen in an excellent color pattern and with great shine. The cap and barrel have moderate scratching. There are occasional short, deep scratch marks or other long thin marks, mainly on the barrel. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap bands have microscratching and the bottom one has some small areas of pitting on the lower edge of the band. The clip has plating wear on the ball end and microscratching. The imprints are clear.
