Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen in excellent restored condition
Product Name Parker Duofold Senior (Streamlined)
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- Circa 1930..
Length 5-3/8" (the streamline version is shorter than the original Duofold Senior)
Filling System Button filler, restored here at Peyton Street Pens.
Color Red (orange) permanite with gold plated trim and black end pieces. The cap band is 1/8" and feels slightly raised but it is not the early raised one.
Nib Fine Parker Vacumatic nib. It is firm and writes smoothly. The nib is a replacement and since the barrel says, "Lucky Curve" the feed is also probably a replacement, but since it's a transitional model it may have the correct feed.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap band and clip are brassed on the edges. The pen has handwear and a series of marks above the barrel imprint. The barrel imprint is clear. The blind cap sits flush against the barrel but the washer part of the clip does not which is typical for the streamline pens. There are a few fine scratches. As mentioned above, the pen has a replacement nib and possibly a replacement feed.
