Product Description
Type Fountain pen with aerometric filing system.
Product Name Senior Duofold
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in England -- 1954 (The nib date code is a clear 4 with two dots and the English Duofolds didn't adopt aerometric systems before 1953).
Length 5-9/16 inches.
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler like that of the later Parker 51s and the Parker 21s. We've cleaned and tested it and it's working very well.
Color Black with gold plated trim. Thin size cap band with a chevron pattern (it looks sort of like this: ////\\\\////\\\\).
Nib MEDIUM 14k nib is marked 35. The 35 indicates that it's a nib that goes on a Duofold Senior. It's fairly firm and smooth with great tipping material.
Condition Excellent + condition. The pen has low handwear and some plating wear on the cap band with a legible imprint. The imprint is a bit worn with a few marks around it. The date code cannot be made out. The cap jewel looks great. No cracks, chips, scratches, or dents. The details of the arrow clip and cap band are crisp. The pen looks very clean and nice. It's working very well.
