Product Description
Type Hard to find early Parker fountain pen iwith a fully flexible nib
Product Name Jack Knife Lucky Curve. This version featured casein blind caps in various colors. Though it was a cataloged varation, it is very uncommon.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA - This is an early model from the teens or 20s.
Length Just over 5-1/4"
Filling System This is a button filler pen. We did not restore it as the rare green blind cap is damaged and fragile, and we didn't think it would survive regular usage.
Color Black smooth hard rubber body and cap. It has a "turban top" which is a rope etched cap piece. The blind cap is a very light green and highly unusual.
Nib FINE FULLY FLEXIBLE Lucky Curve nib. It has very good line variation when dipped. See sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. The black hard rubber has lightened to a brown. Uncapped, the upper part of the body is clearly black. The casein blind cap has one very large crack and many small fractures. As it is the most special part of the pen, if you decide to return the pen the blind cap must be in the exact same condition as received. The imprints are legible.
