Color Black pearl is a pearlescent ivory with black lines and pieces meandering through the ivory. It has a trio of narrow gold filled cap bands, no clip, and a ringtop.

Condition Excellent condition with no cracks. This is a small, prettily colored ring-top fountain pen that has a true vintage character. The color has faded and mellowed. On the barrel the "pearl" has become a caramel color. On the cap it has a slight green tinge. The section is also slightly faded from black to a dark chocolate brown. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip as well as some heavier scratching, including bite-like marks, near the end of the barrel. The cap has moderate scratching with bite marks on the top part of the cap. The triple cap band has moderate microscratching but no plating wear. The ring-top has plating wear, brassing, and some tiny dots of pitting. The imprint is readable.
