Product Description
Type Early button filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Parker Lucky Curve. We're not sure but we think this is considered the "baby" model. Marked Parker Fountain Pen on the cap's overlay.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in U.S.A. -- circa 1910s.
Length 3-5/16", not counting ring hardware.
Filling System Button filler. We've replaced it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Completely covered in a layer of gold filled metal, under that there is no doubt black hard rubber barrel and cap. Gold fill overlay is smooth with four reeded bands (3 on the barrel, and 1 on the cap).
Nib EXTRA-FINE gold nib. Smooth and with a lot of tipping material. A little give, but no real flex.
Condition Excellent with no cracks or chips. This is a dainty, gorgeous pen with a lovely gold filled overlay. The cap has some small shallow dents, and a few scattered dots of pitting. The lip of the cap is fairly smooth and even. The top of the cap has brassing. The blind cap has some brassing on the end, and the edge has several dents. The barrel has a few dots of pitting and some dots of brassing. The back half of the section, closest to the barrel, has quite a few shallow dents. The very front edge of the section, near the barrel, has pitting and some corrosion. The imprints on the cap are clear.
