Product Description
Type High end modern ballpoint pen.
Product Name Duofold Centennial (Mark III, Ace of Spades).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, UK -- 2005 (The date code is a clear T.I indicating 2005. The pattern and redesign officially launched in 2006).
Length 5-1/8".
Filling System Takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working blue Parker refill is installed. The refills are a bit annoying to change. The end piece turns loosely, but when pushed down and turned counterclockwise, it locks into the barrel and then can be turned further to remove a widget. After the widget is removed, the refill just slides out of the barrel.
Color "Check Marine" body with platinum plated trim. The barrel is a checkered pattern of various blues that span white blues to black blues. It has one cap band and an ace of spades emblem in the cap end.
Condition Very nice condition. The cone has some handwear on it and the clip doesn't make good contact with the barrel. There is also a small crack in the material to the left of the clip just beneath the platinum trim. It lines up perfectly with the check pattern and might be the result of a manufacturing defect. It looks great though and the crack is hard to notice. The imprints are crisp and there are no dents or scratches.
Sorry, no box or paperwork.
