Type Lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Parkette De Luxe (Deluxe).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1938-39, it has the Deluxe trim introduced in 1938 and the model was discontinued by 1940.
Length 5 inches.
Filling System Lever filler, we've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black and gray marbled with red veins. The cap has a black conical piece at the top, an arrow clip, and a stacked coins band 1/8" wide. The trim is gold plated.
Nib FINE SEMIFLEXIBLE Parkette 14k nib. It writes smoothly and offers good line variation. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There's some lesser scratching and minor wear on the cap and slightly on the barrel as well. The plating is thin on the clip and worn on the edges of the band. The barrel imprint is very clear. There are a few bite marks at the top of the cap. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
