Product Description
Type button fill fountain pen
Product Name Duette Sr. (also referred to as one of the Thrift Time or Depression pens) ... to make it more confusing, the Canadian Senior pens were called Premiere (marked on the barrel)! The Senior is a little longer than the Junior and is rather fat.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Canada, 1935 (date marked 25)
Length 5-1/16"
Filling System This pen is a button filler. We've restored it and it works well. We will guarantee the filling system for a year, but honestly, it should last a good deal longer.
Color Green marble, gold trim, three cap rings.
Nib Canadian "Parker Fountain pen" nib is in excellent condition, with lots of tipping material. Medium with some flex and line variation, not true flex but easy flex for every day. See writing sample.
Condition Excellent working restored condition with no cracks or deep scratches. The plating on this series was thin, so you'll see wear on the clip. The permanite plastic is excellent with no discoloration or cracks, quite lovely. The imprint is worn but readable.
