Product Name Royal Challenger.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1939 (the date code on the barrel is a clear 9 with one dot).
Length 4-13/16", this is the Slender size, the smaller of the two sizes
Filling System Button filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working well.
Color Silver color is a grey marble pattern with strips of a herringbone with black lines running down it. Nickel plated trim with a 1/4 inch decorated cap band and a stylized clip. The blind cap and both jewels are black.
Nib FINE gold Parker Pen nib.
Condition Superior condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, beautifully patterned pen that is unique looking. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. Both the cap and barrel have micro-scratching with no significant marks or scratches. The trim looks nice and shiny; it has some fine scratch marks but not much plating wear at all. The jewels are have micro-scratching but they are both intact and look nice. The imprints are clear.
