Filling System Ballpoint pen takes Parker style refills, and a black one is currently installed. The pencil takes 0.5mm leads, which extend by twisting the top half of the pencil. Tested and working well. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Sterling silver grid pattern finish is one of Parker's well known patterns, called Cicelé. The trim is gold plated. (There's also a silverplate version of this pen that looks almost exactly the same, however it does not have hallmarks. Both pieces have the 925 hallmark on the cap.)
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully shiny, classic pen and pencil set. The ballpoint pen looks great with all the small squares intact and darkly outlined. A few of the little squares have a black dot of tarnish and the cap lip is tarnished. There is a thin layer of tarnish between the gold cap band and the silver cap band. The mechanical pencil has just some light tarnishing on the silver cap band. The clips and cones on both pieces have very light microscratching. The imprints and hallmarks are clear.
