Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a nicely weighted pen set in a classical design with all the little squares intact on both pieces and with dark black outlines on each square. The fountain pen cap has a bit of tarnish behind the end of the clip and a few small scratches inside a few of the squares near the wide cap band. The barrel is perfect. There is a miniscule black dot on the rounded end piece of the barrel. The wide cap band and clip have light microscratching. The top gold clip band is lovely as is the black centerpiece on top of the cap. The ballpoint pen is near mint with just some light microscratching on the wide cap band and the cone. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
