Product Description
Type Modern fountain pen.
Product Name Sonnet - first version.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, France -- 1994, the first year of production (date code lllI on cap is clear).
Length 5-1/4".
Filling System Takes Parker style cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via the included Parker piston converter.
Color Flighter brushed chrome finish with chrome trim and a black plastic section. It has a very thin cap band, as it is the early version of the sonnet.
Nib FINE steel nib is marked F. It's very smooth and has just a little flexibility to it, the sort of springy-ness you see in modern nibs, not vintage flex by any means.
Condition New old stock with a few light signs of storage. There is a small shiny mark on the end of the barrel. No scratches, cracks, chips, dings, dents, plating wear, or personalization. We found no traces of ink in the nib and it's possible this pen has never been used.
