Product Description
Type | Fountain pen |
Product Name | Sonnet |
Manufacturer and Year |
Parker, France -- This model was introduced in 1994 and revised a few times. With the medium wide band, this is identified as the 2003 version. Date code of A.II more specifically dates this one to 2002, so we guess the 2003 date must be approximate. |
Length | 5-1/8" |
Filling System | Fills via Parker cartridges, or you can fill using a converter. The pen will come with a Parker piston converter and a cartridge. |
Color | Silver plated grid pattern finish is one of Parker's well known patterns, called Cicelé. The trim is gold plated. (There's also a sterling silver version of this pen that looks almost exactly the same, however it has hallmarks.) |
Nib | The nib is 18k, marked Fine. The nib is very smooth and has the typical Sonnet spring-y feeling to it. (There's a yellow-ish splotch at the base of the nib in the photo, but it polished off and won't be there when you get the pen.) |
Condition |
Mint condition. No dents or dings or scratches. It may have been dipped, but that is as much usage as we believe occurred. We will ship this pen in a Parker gift box with all the original paperwork . |
