Condition Very nice condition for this small-sized, nicely colored vintage pen and pencil set. The color on the fountain pen barrel has darkened to shades of brown/dark gold without any of the cream colored pieces. The mechanical pencil coloring is better. The fountain pen cap and barrel have rough surfaces, full of pock marks and deep scratches mostly toward the end of the barrel and on the top half of the cap. The fountain pen has marks caused by the cap lip. The cap band has moderate microscratching with a tiny bit of pitting on the lower edge. The clip has plating wear on the ball end and moderate scratching. The clip band has plating wear and brassing. The mechanical pencil has similar rough surface marks to the fountain pen mainly on the cap portion and about half way on the barrel portion of the pen. The cone has moderate microscratching and some tiny pit marks. The cap band has plating wear, brassing, and moderate microscratching. The clip has plating wear on the ball end and some light pitting just up from the ball and across the top of the clip. The clip band has pitting and it is quite darkened. The imprints on both pieces are legible.
