Product Description
Type Depression era fountain pen set
Product Name Not sure of the model name, but it was one of the Thrift Time or Depression pens series.
Manufacturer and Year Parker USA, early 1930s
Length 4-3/4"
Filling System This pen is a button filler. We've replaced the sac and it works well. We will guarantee the filling system for a year, but honestly, it should last a good deal longer. The pencil takes 1.1mm leads.
Color Cream with large chunks of bronze embedded. Gold Plated trim.
Nib Marked "Parker Pen" and it writes like a fine with just a littloe flex. There's a lot of tipping material, and it writes well.
Condition Excellent working condition with no cracks or scratches. The plating on this series was thin, but this set's plating is a little better than you usually see, with brassing on the clip ball. (More brassing on the pencil than the pen.) The permanite plastic shows some discoloration on the pen barrel, but it otherwise is very nice. The pencil works well.
