Product Description
Type Vacumatic filling vintage fountain pen
Product Name Parker Vacumatic fountain pen
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Canada - 1930s (The imprint on the barrel is worn but it looks like "47.")
Length 4-5/8 inches. This is the smaller of the 3 sizes of vacumatic.
Filling System Vacumatic lockdown plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is in excellent working condition. The bladder has been replaced and the pen has been tested.
Color Green marble body with gold plated trim. Some visibility through the body.
Nib LEFT OBLIQUE STUB. When we got the pen the original Canadian Vacumatic nib had a broken tine, so we had the pen retipped to a 1mm stub. See writing sample. Very fun to write with!
Condition Very nice condition, though it has some minor cosmetic issues. The cap lip has three cracks, (so the pen should not be posted). There's a little plating wear on the clip and on the part which holds the cap jewel. The body and cap of the pen have some scratching and handwear, but still the pen is quite attractive with its vibrant color and expressive nib.
