Type Vintage vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Slender Vacumatic. They changed the models in 1936, but this matches the description of the model called "Slender Pen" in the 1934 ads.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA – 1934 (the barrel is hard to read, but there's a 4 on the nib).
Length 4-5/8 inches (120mm).
Filling System Lockdown style Vacumatic filler. We've fully restored it and it's working very well.
Color Burgundy pearl color with gold plated trim, three thin cap bands, a striped barrel jewel and a striped cap jewel. The barrel clarity is really good.
Nib ITALIC Parker USA nib. It's quite smooth and has good tipping material. It produces a very subtle italic line similar to what modern users call a cursive italic.
Condition Excellent condition. There's just very light handwear and microscratching. There are some brassing on the edges of the clip and the jewel tassies. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The imprint is fairly clear and readable aside form the date code. It's fully restored and working well.
