Product Name Parker Vacumatic Junior
Manufacturer and Year Parker USA -- 1936. The date code on the barrel appears to be 16, or the 1st quarter of 1936. The 6 is a faint but such a date does make sense.
Length 4-3/4".
Filling System Vacumatic aluminum lockdown plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is in excellent working condition. The bladder has been replaced and the pen has been tested.
Color Burgundy Pearl Marble is a marbled burgundy barrel and cap with a black section and two narrow cap bands. There is a black jewel on each end and the trim is gold plated. The clip band has a Registration #: 784404.
Nib Medium 14k nib. Excellent tipping material, very smooth.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, shiny, beautifully colored pen. The barrel has nice transparency. It has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching, and a few pin-prick sized dots. The gold band that surrounds the black end jewel has plating wear. The cap has small scratches here and there. The cap bands have plating wear. The clip has some short, deep nicks and a bit of plating wear along the edges. The gold clip band has plating wear. The black jewel at the end of the barrel is excellent. The black jewel on the top of the cap has one small, deep scratch in the middle. The imprints are clear.
