Filling System Vacumatic aluminum lockdown plunger filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens and is in excellent working condition. The bladder has been replaced and the pen has been tested.
Color Emerald Pearl Marble is a marbled gray-green barrel and cap with a black section and two narrow cap bands. There is a black jewel on each end and the trim is gold plated.
Nib Italic 14k nib is a smooth writer. It has a date code of "16". We'd consider it a medium stub. There is a W is stamped on the feed, indicating a wide channel, perfect for this lovely nib. The nib is single tone, correct for this model. Please see our writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition. The barrel transparency is very strong with light ambering. The color is really nice, with a good match between the cap and the barrel. The clip has plating wear along the sides and brassing around the open end; the tassie ring has plating wear around the edges. The barrel end tassie has brassing around the edges. Both jewels are in excellent condition. The blind cap does not sit perfectly flush against the barrel. The barrel imprint is clear.
