Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Junior -- the Junior is more or less the same size as the Major, however it has two thin cap rings and a "split arrow" clip as opposed to the Blue Diamond clip.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1947 (The imprint on the barrel is a clear 7 with one dot, and the nib has a 7 with two dots).
Length 5" long.
Filling System Standard style Vacumatic filling system with plastic plunger. We have fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly.
Color Emerald Pearl green striped finish with gold plated trim and a black cap jewel. Thin double cap band and a split arrow clip.
Nib FINE gold arrow style Parker USA nib marked R. It's smooth with nice tipping, and has just a touch of springyness to it.
Condition Excellent + condition with some lesser scratches on the cap and barrel. The cap bands look great, with no brassing or plating wear. The tassie ring has some small spots of brassing. There is brassing and some plating wear on the edges of the clip. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. The imprints are clear and readable, and the barrel has great clarity. It's fully restored and working well.
