Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Junior -- the Junior is more or less the same size as the Major, however it has two thin cap rings and a "split arrow" clip as opposed to the Blue Diamond clip.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1947 (The date code on the barrel is a clear 7 with no dots and the date code on the nib is a clear 53 indicating it's not the original nib).
Length 5-1/8".
Filling System Standard style plastic Vacumatic filling system. We have fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly.
Color Black celluloid with gold plated trim and a black cap jewel. Thin double cap band and a split arrow clip. The barrel is striped with black and transparent golden brown.
Nib FINE gold arrow style Parker USA nib. It's smooth with nice tipping.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen shows some handwear. There is a small amount of brassing on the edges of the cap band and accents of the clip. There is a scuff mark on the cap tassie. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. There are some light toolmarks on the section. The barrel looks fantastic with excellent transparency and a crisp imprint. It's fully restored and working well.
