Type Vintage Vacumatic filling fountain pen.
Product Name Vacumatic Junior. The Junior is more or less the same size as the Major, however it has two thin cap rings and a "split arrow" clip as opposed to the Blue Diamond clip.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1948 (there is a clear .8. imprint on the barrel and the nib).
Length 5-1/8".
Filling System Vacumatic filling system. We have fully restored it with a new diaphragm and it's working perfectly. It has the plastic plunger.
Color Grey and black striped finish. The trim is nickel plated to match the Grey Pearl and is the only Vacumatic to have nickel plated trim. The cap jewel is black. Thin double cap band and a split arrow clip.
Nib Fine 14k nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, beautiful pen with excellent barrel transparency. The barrel has horizontal capping lines and light scratching. The cap looks great with just a few surface flaws to the left of the top of the clip. The clip ring has some plating wear and scratching and the clip has scratches at the very top where it connects to the ring, and a few flecks of plating loss. The cap bands have some plating wear also. The imprint is nice and clear.
