Filling System Vacumatic plastic plunger filler is in excellent working condition. The filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens. (We will guarantee the filling system for one year from purchase.) This is the last Vacumatic filler system used. The pencil uses a twist mechanism and takes 0.9mm or "thin" leads. An eraser can be found beneath the cap.
Color Both are Emerald Pearl patterned. On the pencil that means the green colored bands alternate with solid black bands. On the pen they alternate with semi-transparent amber bands. Each has a split arrow clip, a black cap jewel, and a pair of narrow cap bands.
Nib Fine 14k nib. Writes smoothly with some springiness.
Condition The set is in excellent + condition. A bit unusually, the pen is in better condition than the pencil. The pen has good barrel transparency, very well maintained trim, a clear imprint, and low handwear. The pencil is in almost the same fine condition but its cap bands are a bit brassed. The pen is restored, tested, and working well.
