Condition
|
Gorgeous! The pen is in excellent used condition with no cracks or chips, only signs of light use. The imprint is bold and readable. The gold plated trim is excellent with no brassing except for the high points on the point of the clip. The two jewels are black and in excellent condition. We tested the pen with ink and found no leaks. This is a great pen which should be a dependable writer for years and years to come. It has had some work done. The nib is probably a replacement since it was made in the USA, and the filling system was originally an aluminum Speedline style vac system, which has been replaced with the plastic vac system introduced in the 1940s. |
