Filling System The filling system has been restored by us with a new diaphragm, and it has been tested. (We will guarantee the filling system for one year from purchase.) This is the aluminum speedline version and the correct plunger for when it was made.
Color Laminated black with alternating bands of semi-transparent amber and black. There is a black jewel in each end of the pen. The cap has a blue diamond clip and 3/6" cap band with a pattern: ///\\\. The trim is gold filled.
Nib FINE two-tone nib, verging on the extra fine.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a dark, shiny pen with good transparency in the striped barrel and that has a classic, vintage look. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching with some heavier scratching, on the blind cap. The black jewel at the end of the barrel has microscratching and the gold end piece has some plating wear. The cap has moderate scratching and micro-scratching. The cap band has light plating wear and light microscratching. The clip has plating wear on the arrow end. The blue diamond looks good. The cap band has light microscratching and a tiny bit of pitting near the clip and along some of the edges. The black jewel on top of the cap has a few micro-dot marks. The imprints are clear.
