Filling System Vacumatic speedline filler is in working condition. The filling system has been restored by us with a new diaphragm, and it has been tested. (We will guarantee the filling system for one year from purchase.)
Color Black barrel with ambered transparent horizontal lines; black cap; 3/16" gold Chevron style cap band; two black jewels at either end.
Nib 14k fine two-tone nib. Writes very smoothly with a wet line. Lots of tipping material in evidence.
Condition Excellent condition for this hard to find pen. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. The barrel transparency and color are excellent. The barrel has horizontal capping lines and light to moderate scratching throughout with a few long thin scratch lines. The cap has light scratching with more moderate scratching to the right of the clip and around the breather hole. There are two breather holes on the cap, one just under the end of the clip. There is a little wear along the upper edge of the section along with some light scratch marks on the piece.The wide Chevron cap band has some plating wear especially on the bottom edge and some light scratching. The end of the clip has plating wear. The blue diamond looks great and is intact. The end jewels are lovely. The imprints are crystal clear, including the date imprint.
