Color Golden brown barrel and cap with ambered transparent horizontal lines. 1/4" gold Chevron style cap band, striped jewels matching the pen's coloration on top of the cap, and at the end of the barrel. Blue diamond clip.
Nib Fine 14k nib. Firm and smooth. Not needle fine, but it looks finer than the nibs we classify as fine.
Condition Excellent condition. This is a large-sized, beautifully colored, very shiny pen with good barrel transparency. The barrel has faint marks caused by the cap lip. There is light to moderate scratching on the barrel and the blind cap. The tassie for the blind cap jewel has brassing around the edge. The cap also has light scratching. The cap band has brassing, especially along the lower edge. The clip and clip ring have a fair bit of plating wear. Some of the nib masking has been polished away. The blue diamond looks great. Both jewels are perfect. The imprints slightly worn but still readable.
The barrel of the pen is personalized with the name "Frank Silverstein", see photo below.
