Type Vintage Fountain pen, hard to find early version
Product Name Vacuum Filler, the precursor to the Vacumatic. This mid-sized model would have been similar to the Junior, and a smaller sub-junior was also made.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, USA -- 1933 - there's no date code, but the Vacuum Filler debuted in 1933.
Length Just a bit over 5" long.
Filling System Vacumatic filler is in excellent working condition. The filling system has been restored here at Peyton Street Pens. (We will guarantee the filling system for one year from purchase.) It has the early lockdown filling system.
Color Black with gold trim. There are two jewels, both of which are black. The cap has a trio of narrow bands.
Nib FINE two-toned Parker nib. Some of the masking has been polished away.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. Light to moderate wear and small marks on the barrel. The section has a matte look to it. The cap has some heavier scratching, especially on either side of the clip. The clip has brassing and plating wear on the sides and high points; the clip ring has plating wear around the edges. The blind cap tassie has a ring of pitting and brassing. The imprint is slightly faded but readable.
