Product Description
Type | Fountain pen using cartridges or a specially designed converter |
Product Name | Parker VP |
Manufacturer and Year | Parker, USA, 1962-4 |
Length | 5-5/16" |
Filling System | Takes Parker cartridges or the unique Parker VP converter. This converter is unqiue to this model and has a very thin neck which is prone to cracking. We do notice a small crack in the filler where it attaches to the post, but it is intact and should be good if you are careful when you insert and remove it. We understand Ron Zorn of Main Street Pens makes a replacement converter for this model. |
Color | Brushed steel cap with gold plated trim. The pen body is black. |
Nib | Large semi-hooded #65 nib -- almost a completely open nib in fact -- is fine and extremely smooth, with a bit of give but not enough flex to add line variation. |
Condition | Extremely nice except for some light marks on the Lustraloy cap. No dents, cracks or scratches. |
