Product Name M200 and K200 "Old Style" - M200 is a piston fountain pen and K200 is a clicker ballpoint pen. These are the pre-1997 designs for this model and have been nicknamed "Old Style"
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany -- 1988-97, this version came out in 1998 and the line was revamped in 1997.
Length The fountain pen is 5-1/16 inches long and the ballpoint pen is 5-5/16 inches long.
Filling System The fountain pen has a piston filling system. It has been tested and it's working well. The ballpoint pen is a clicker type to extend and retract the point. It takes Parker-style ballpoint refills. A working blue Pelikan brand refill is installed.
Color The fountain pen has a marbled gray barrel with a stripe-esque pattern. It has a black cap, end piece, and section. It has a blue-gray viewing window. The older style has two bands on the cap and no band near the piston knob. The ballpoint pen has its bands about halfway through the pen and is reversed color with the marbling on the top and black on the lower half.
Nib FINE. Steel nib is gold plated and smooth with lots of tipping material.
Condition Near Mint condition with no scratches, chips, or dents. We found no ink residue anywhere. The piston moves a little stiffly but we think this is due to lack of usage. It is possible the fountain pen has never been filled.
