Color Smoky Quartz, a transparent brown color with gold colored trim. You can see the filling system through the body. This was Pelikan's "color of the year" for 2017, and this pen was only produced in that year.
Nib FINE. Steel nib is gold plated and smooth with lots of tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition, in box, with paperwork and white leatherette pen pouch, and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, uniquely colored pen that has excellent barrel transparency. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching and microscratching. The cap has light to moderate microscratching. The gold band above the blind cap has some tarnish/patina. The cap band has some plating wear along the bottom edge and moderate microscratching. The clip has light microscratching. The clip band/tassie has a bit of plating wear and light polishing marks. The top pelican logo has some scratches. The pen has the original clip tag showing color and model. The imprints are clear.
