Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, Germany -- 1984-1997. Note that the ballpoint pen may be slightly older than the fountain pen - the ballpoint has a W. Germany imprint on the cap band, and the fountain pen's is simply Germany.
Length The fountain pen is 4-15/16", and the ballpoint is 5-1/4"
Filling System The fountain pen has a piston filling system, which has been tested and is working well. The ballpoint pen takes Parker style refills. A Pelikan refill is installed.
Color Dark brown cap, almost black, tortoise barrel. Gold trim.
Nib 14k 585 medium nib.
Condition Excellent + condition. The fountain pen looks great. There is some microscratching on the cap and barrel. The clip has light polishing marks, but no scratching or plating wear. It has really great barrel transparency. The cap emblem looks great. The ballpoint pen has some light scratching on the cap and barrel. The clip has light scratching. There is a little bit of brassing on the ring around the pen's knock. The imprints on both pieces are clear and easily read.
