Product Name M800 Souveran. The M800 model was introduced in 1987 with a 14k nib, but it changed in 1990 to an 18k nib. The W. Germany imprint disappeared in 1991, so we date this pen with its 18k nib as being from 1990-91.
Manufacturer and Year Pelikan, W. Germany (circa 1990-91).
Length 5-1/2 inches
Filling System Piston filling system, tested and working well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Green lined barrel with semi-transparency. Black cap. Gold plated trim. A real classic.
Nib FINE 18c 2-tone nib.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful, shiny example of a classic pen. The barrel has nice semi-transparency. It has light marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching that is difficult to see due to the coloration. The black end piece has microscratching. The cap is velvety black with just some microscratching. The two gold bands near the end of the barrel have light scratching but no plating wear. The cap bands have light to moderate small scratches. The clip is lovely. The pelican icon on top of the cap is excellent. The imprints are clear.
