Product Name M800 "The Mystical Kirin" from the Asia Limited Edition. This was the last of a five pen series depicting the wisest cardinal points dividing the 28-constellation sky. The wisest of all is assigned to Kirin (Earth), who, it is said, was very closely linked with the great philosopher Confucius.

Filling System Differential Piston-filling system.
Color The barrel is engraved on a sleeve of solid 925 silver with 24k gold overlay. Cap and end pieces are yellow. The Kirin is described as the mythical animal with a Dragon head, snout of a pig, horns of deer, back of a tiger, waist of a bear, with body covered with scales; exuding an aura of mysticism with power to ward of evil. The top of the cap has the Pelikan logo.
Nib Medium 18k gold nib embellished with platinum.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, notable scratches, or signs of wear. There are some light marks on the barrel and on the end piece. The "pelikan" on the top jewel is a little worn. Tested and working well.
Mint condition. Never inked. This is a large, heavy, and beautifully engraved pen. It comes in a hardwood box with the mythical Kirin imprited on the outside. The inside of the box includes a gold metal plaque that is engraved: Pelikan, Asia Limited Edition, 567/888. The wooden box is inside a grey cloth and all are enclosed in the original Pelikan cardboard box, with labels. Paperwork, a full account of the series and the legends behind it, and certificate of authenticity included. No cracks, chips, dents, dings, or scratches. The imprints are clear.
