Nib MEDIUM Gold Pick #1 nib is smooth with nice tipping material. It is semi-flexible, and we've got a writing sample below to show you the line variation that we achieved. NOTE: The nib has some lines extending from either side of the breather hole, which you can see in the nib close-up shot; our repair staff say that they are not cracks or repaired cracks, but instead are the remnants of the annealing process which is used to temper and strengthen the nib metal. We recommend caution, because this does indicate a weakness in the strength of the metal, and not putting too much stress on this nib.
Condition Excellent condition. The black and pearl celluloid has mellowed and discolored. Light handwear and scratching. No cracks or chips. There are small touches of brassing on the gold trim. The imprints are very clear. It's fully restored and working well.
