Type Limited edition capless fountain pen. It's not numbreed, but only 800 of these were released in Japan.
Product Name Decimo. This is a slightly more slender version of the popular Vanishing Point.
Manufacturer and Year Pilot (Namiki) Japan -- 2009. The nib has an A1208 imprint, indicating that it was made in December 2008).

Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A Pilot CON-40 piston converter is currently installed. The box also contains a Pilot cartridge, as well as the metal cartridge cover that is needed to keep the cartridge from being pierced by the internal mechanism.
Color Pearl Blue with chrome trim. The pearly sparkle on this pen is stunning!
Nib FINE 18k nib, rhodium masked to match the pen's outer trim.
Condition Near mint condition, in box with paperwork. This nib has never been inked, and we can't find any scratching on the surface. The trim is all very clean, with no scratches and minimal polishing marks. The Decimo is a slightly slimmer version of Pilot's Vanishing Point retractable fountain pen - the diameter at the grip of the VP is 11.8mm, whereas the Decimo's grip diameter is 10.6mm. Additionally, the Decimo is lighter - 20.6g vs. 30g for the VP. If you love the retractability and ease of deployment of the Vanishing Point, but it's just a touch too big or heavy, the Decimo may be a better fit for you.
