Product Name Custom Heritage 912 (marked on the cap band).
Manufacturer and Year Pilot (Namiki), Japan -- 2013 (date code 113)
Length 5-1/2 inches. This a large pen, verging on the oversized.
Filling System It takes Pilot style cartridges and converters. Not all Pilot pens can take all Pilot converters. This model takes CON-20, CON-50, and CON-70 converters for sure. A CON-70 converter is installed. The box also includes a cartridge.
Color Black cap and barrel with flat ends and rhodium plated trim. In original Pilot box.
Nib 14k Medium nib marked SU (sticker on the barrel). It's Rhodium masked and offers lots of give. (The Japanese SU nib is like a broad with some line variation, smooth but not particularly crisp.) See writing sample, below.
Condition Near mint condition for this handsome, shiny pen that comes in its original black plastic Pilot box with grey velvet and silk interior, and including all paperwork. The cap, section and barrel have only light microscratching and some faint clusters of this scratching. The pen looks shiny. The clip is excellent. No cracks, dings, dents, chips, or personalization. The imprints are clear.
