Color Ruby Red lacquer over brass with rhodium plated trim. The lacquer has really subtle pearly sparkles in it, only visible up close or in bright light, giving it a nice glow. The end pieces are red plastic, and the section is black.
Nib Extra-fine 14k gold (rhodium-plated) nib.
Condition Excellent + condition. The lacquer looks great with just some microscratching. There is a tiny bit of paint missing from a couple of letters in the cap band imprint, but for the most part the imprints are crisp and clear. The trim looks fantastic. No cracks, chips, dents, or plating wear. It is working very well. This is a nice pocket pen, the same size as the Pilot Prera, but with a bit more heft to it. A great opportunity to get a gold Pilot nib at an attractive price!
