Color Black lacquer ("Stargazer Pearl") over brass with rhodium plated trim. The lacquer has really subtle pearly sparkles in it, only visible up close or in bright light, giving it a nice glow.
Nib Fine 14k gold (rhodium-plated) nib
Condition Excellent condition. The trim ring near the nib has some flaking in the plating. There is light handwear and microscratching on the cap and barrel, but the pen looks really great in hand. The imprint is crisp and the clip and cap band look perfect. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. It is working very well. This is a nice pocket pen, the same size as the Pilot Prera, but with a bit more heft to it. A great opportunity to get a gold Pilot nib at an attractive price!
