Filling System Takes Pilot/Namiki-style cartridges and converters. Despite being a premium fountain pen model, this particular pen does not take the more elaborate Pilot CON-70 button converter which is too long to fit in the barrel. A Pilot squeeze converter is installed.
Color Sterling silver cap and barrel with black section and gold inlaid nib. The design of the Crane, symbolising gentle strength, is painstakingly engraved with artistry and skill on the pen barrel and cap with exquisite Japanese artisanship
Nib FINE 14k nib. It is rhodium plated and writes smoothly. Japanese fine nibs run narrow. The nib is engraved H982.
Condition Superior condition with no cracks, chips, dents, dings, plating wear or brassing. Because it is sterling silver, any handwear or polishing marks are notieable and there are such marks on this pen. The patterning is clear and lovely. The imprints are clear.
