Filling System Pilot cartridge or converter. A piston converter is installed. (There is a cartridge cover that we recommend using if you want to use a cartridge. It lets the clicker mechanism work better. Let us know if you need one.). The filling system has been tested and is working well. Guaranteed for a year from the date of purchase.
Color "Carbonesque", known as "Kasuri" in Japan, is a lacquer with small interrupted dashes in an almost zig-zag pattern. The background lacquer is blue so this is the Blue Carbonesque version. The Carbonesque name comes from a visual similarity to carbon fiber whereas Kasuri comes from the fabric style the pattern mimics. The trim is rhodium plated.
Nib FINE 14k yellow gold nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny dark blue pen with an intricate pattern on the cap and barrel and with a unique overall design. The cap and barrel have light to some moderate scratching. The rhodium trim, including clip and clicker, has light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
