Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Marked 3776 and made of celluloid, so it is called 3776 Celluloid.
Manufacturer and Year Platinum, Japan -- probably part of the first series of celluloid pens (which began in 1987) since it lacks the "Slip and Seal" cap feature.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Platinum cartridge or converter fill. We will include a new converter in the box. The pen comes fitted with a black adapter that allows you to use standard international ink cartridges as opposed to Platinum's propriety cartridges. Just remove the black insert to use the converter or Platinum cartridges.
Color Pearl and black -- black and pearlized café latte color with gold colored trim. We've seen this color called "Stone" and also "Calico," but the Lambrou Pens of Japan just calls it pearl and black.
Nib Fine 14k nib.
Condition Near Mint, lovely condition. This is a beautiful pen with nice trim and very shiny. The pen comes in its original navy blue Platinum box with instruction manual and warranty card. This pen is still being made with a MSRP price of $450.
