Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Platinum cartridge or converter fill. A converter is installed, and there is an ink cartridge in the box. See important safety note below.
Color Solid black with gold plated trim.
Nib ULTRA-EXTRA-FINE 14k nib. You MUST use this pen with a light hand, and even then it may feel scratchy.
Condition Near mint condition, in box, with paperwork and an ink cartridge. This is a beautiful, shiny, elegant fountain pen. It has never been inked. The cap and barrel have some light marks, picked up in storage. The cap band and clip have light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
(Important safety note: current 3776 models have a metal bushing at the end of the section, which helps to a) guide the converter into position and also b) stabilize the converter so that you don't accidentally break off the nipple. THIS PEN DOES NOT HAVE THAT BUSHING. You'll want to be sure to pull the converter straight off of the section, with no wiggling side-to-side. If the nipple breaks off, it cannot be replaced.)
