Product Name Marked 3776 on the cap band. This model is more officially called "Gathered," but more commonly called "Ribbed."
Manufacturer and Year Platinum, Japan -- 1980s, the model came out in 1978 but this matches the 1979 version. There is a modern version of this design but it has some differences.

Filling System Platinum cartridge or converter fill. A converter is installed.
Color Solid black with gold plated trim.
Nib Fine Semi-flexible 14k nib. Because it is a Japanese fine, as marked on the nib, it writes like an extra fine with nice line variation. Nothing dramatic in terms of flex, but more than enough for daily use. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. There is some handwear and polishing marks on the trim. The trim at the top of the cap is a little worn.
