Color Platinum design is a painted pattern of Cypress trees (a type of pine tree). The painting or "maki-e" is over plastic. The trim is gold plated.
Nib Medium 3776 nib. Gold plated. The Platinum medium nibs write like Western fine nibs.
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, of dings. This is an elegant, shiny pen with a beautiful etching of Cypress pine trees and birds flying above them. Signs of light usage only. The etching that traverses the cap and barrel is quite beautiful and delicate. The imprints are clear.
