Product Name Marked 3776 and made of celluloid, so it is called 3776 Celluloid.
Manufacturer and Year Platinum, Japan (1990s)-- part of the first series of celluloid pens (which began in 1987) since it lacks the "Slip and Seal" cap feature and has an 18k nib. Other features which distinguish it from the modern Century celluloids are the round breather hole on the nib, the fact that the nib size is written in Kanji, and the scroll work. Platinum changed the formulation of the celluloid in the late 1990s, so this is before the change, and the celluloid is called "RE celluloid."

Color We believe the color is called "Midnight Ocean." Lapis blue with gold trim.
Nib Broad 18k nib. Japanese nibs tend run finer than the Western nibs.
Condition Near mint condition, in box with paperwork. We found no evidence thaat the pen was ever inked. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful, colorful pen that is smooth and shiny. Signs of very light handling only, no scratches or plating wear.
